...wie karin e dreier ihre arbeiten nennt, sind zum teil abstrakte, von farben und licht inspirierte bildkompositionen, die die kamera zum pinsel, die fotokunst zur lichtmalerei werden lassen. spiegelungen in vielen varianten, die innen- und außen- räume einzigartig verschmelzen lassen, fangen unwiederbringliche augenblicke in ihren werken ein und sind ein weiterer focus der arbeit. experimentelles kommt immer wieder neu in den bildern zusammen.
jedes bild ist ein einzelstück und wird je nach wunsch und größe im direktdruck auf aludibond, fine art prints, chromalux metal prints oder acryl kaschierung produziert. karindreier
“photopaintings” are images painted with the help of a camera. within the paintings the camera becomes the brush. the pictures become stories. the images come alive through movement and light, partially distorted, but in the end the unaltered photo takes the stage, not the edit nor its digital aspects. it is what it is.never pretending to be anything else.
each image within the different photo collections can be produced and purchased individually and can be printed or mounted on different materials, anything from paper to acrylic laminations.
